Funding
Crossroads is funded through tax deductible
contributions made by people like you. Crossroads donations come from families, organizations,
churches, businesses and corporations. The Crossroads neighborhood is made up of
caring individuals who realize the need for the unique services we provide. Contributions

Mission
Crossroads of Pella will exist to maintain and enhance the well-being and fullness
of life of those citizens living in and around the area of Pella, Iowa by providing a first-call-for-help referral service, counseling, and development of educational and service programs that provide for unmet and emerging community needs..
History
Crossroads of Pella began in the fall
of 1982 as an idea, a dream for enhancing the life of area residents. By January
1, 1983 a nine-member board of directors had been elected. Four months later the
board hired a director: Patricia Joachim Kitzman. Karleen Kos became the second Crossroads
director. Jim Hibma is the current director. He is an Iowa-licensed social worker.
