The Crossroads neighborhood is made up of caring individuals who realize the need for the unique services we provide. History Crossroads of Pella began in the fall of 1982 as an idea, a dream for enhancing the life of area residents. By January 1, 1983 a nine-member board of directors had been elected. Four months later the board hired a director: Patricia Joachim Kitzman. Karleen Kos became the second Crossroads director. Jim Hibma is the current director. He is an Iowa-licensed social worker.
