Free Counseling

Crisis, marriage, workplace and family counseling is available. Crossroads provides confidential counseling for all people, free of charge. When you, or someone you know, needs someone to talk to, we are here to listen.

Christmas Help

Adopt a Family for Christmas provides support for residents in the Pella School District.

Christmas Toy Shelf provides toys for area children thanks to a variety of Crossroads supporters who believe in our cause.

Spreading Encouragement

When life felt tense and spirits needed to be uplifted, Do Good Things quickly became our motto. As donations poured in, we filled baskets with goodies and encouraging notes, and delivered to medical care providers, senior communities, at-risk teachers and school counselors throughout Marion County and beyond.

Financial Assistance

Crossroads of Pella provides financial assistance to those in need. Call for more information.

English Language Learners

Classes are offered throughout the year to work with individuals from a variety of countries and language backgrounds. The goals of ELL are to help participants enhance their English skills, learn about the community and to encourage connections.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) & Narcotics Anonymous (NA)

AA and NA meetings take place weekly in the Pella Community Center. Call for a current schedule.

Medicare Help

The Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) is provided through the State of Iowa’s Insurance Division. Medicare can be confusing and our trained counselors are here to help. A free seminar is offered twice a year. Call for more information.

Free coats available October through January. Donate coats, snow pants or boots anytime!

Prevention Programs

Child abuse prevention and internet safety presentations are given to adults and children in Marion, Mahaska and Jasper Counties. Self-protection and having a personal safety plan is essential in this educational program.

Employment Help

Assistance is available whether looking to build a resume or searching for a job.

Transplant and Injured Worker Funds are available.

MEN TALK

Grief is tough. This program is specifically for men to share their experiences with loss and grieving. If interested, join us Tuesday evenings, 6:30 P.M. in Room 306 in the Pella Community Center.

A Playdate To Do Good Things

Several times throughout the year we have a fun opportunity for families to connect and do a kid friendly service project that benefits our community. Find more information on our Facebook page.
